Timeline
2018 — Began Exploring Hardware & Systems
Started disassembling and repairing computers, learning about system internals, and optimizing hardware for performance. Built my first custom workstation and introduced UPS-based redundancy and reliable local network setups.
2020 — Transitioned into Software Development
Set up local development environments and began creating full-stack web and desktop applications. Gained hands-on experience with Python, Flask, and Docker for modular and containerized development.
2022 — Server & Network Administration
Deployed and managed Ubuntu Server environments on Dell OptiPlex systems and Raspberry Pi devices. Configured NGINX reverse proxies, Cloudflare Tunnels, and Portainer for container orchestration. Focused on network segmentation, firewall testing, and self-hosted infrastructure management.
2023 — Advanced Web Application Development
Built scalable web applications using Flask-SocketIO for real-time communication and Google OAuth for authentication. Integrated AI APIs like Ollama and Gemini into interactive chat systems, enhancing user engagement. Worked with MySQL and Cloudflare R2 for structured and secure data storage.
2024 — Networking, Security & IoT Integration
Experimented with GL.iNet routers and IPFire for network security and transparent firewalls. Designed segmented IoT, guest, and main networks for enhanced privacy. Improved home infrastructure with optimized Wi-Fi, VLANs, and network monitoring.
2025 — Full-Stack & Cloud-Ready Innovation
Developing a collaborative coding and chat platform with live editing, AI problem-solving, and challenge-based competition. Continuing to expand expertise in distributed systems, container deployment, and secure web infrastructure. Focused on building robust, portfolio-grade applications hosted on self-managed hardware.
